Because of the Coronavirus, each and every one of us is experiencing enormous changes, and growing challenges, in our daily life. For the first time, you may find yourself filing for unemployment benefits and waiting anxiously for a check; you may be confronted with the agonizing decision of whether to pay the utility bill or buy groceries; you may no longer be able to care for yourself and your loved ones in ways familiar and comfortable to you, and you are grieving and needing support.
Please know that you are not alone in your need, or in your uncertainty about when and where to ask for help. Below is a list of community agencies that can assist you with securing food, paying bills, etc. In addition to this list, the parish is offering grocery gift cards to parishioners who ask and encouraging you to draw on our Works of Mercy fund. Contributing to this fund, if you are able, is also most welcomed. Finally, having someone to talk and pray with may ease some of the burden of this time. Whatever your concern, please call the parish office: 344-9117 ext. 1. We are here to help.
