“Divine Mercy”, this is shorthand for God’s boundless love and compassion that never wavers.  God’s merciful tenderness toward us is as infinite as the stars in the sky, the sand on the shore, and all the souls who’ve lived or will live upon the Earth as Imago Dei.

In 1938 at the close of the Jubilee Year of Redemption, Sr Faustina Kawalska and her bishop shared her prayerful, mystical, hopeful experience with Jesus with the people of Vilnius.  Today, through John Pual II’s efforts,  it is shared with the world.
