Holy Family Ministries of Accompaniment
It is the deepest desire of our parish family to support your particular family in the communion of life
and love you share. This occurs most fully as we open ourselves to the mercy and teaching of Jesus at
each Lord’s Day Mass and invite Him more deeply into our relationships and activities through faith
formation and service. It also occurs most practically as we accompany and care for one another acrossthe seasons of our lives. Please help us to care for you in the following ways:
First Baby Basket: If you are expecting your first child, please invite us to share in your joy and
allow us to bring you a basket of gifts, some made by loving hands in our parish! Contact Julie
Meadows, Director of Family Life, by e-mailing [email protected] or calling 344-
9117.
New Parent Meals: Whether it’s your first child or your fourth, it’s good to give over the cooking
to someone else in the first few weeks after bringing baby home. Our parish team of top home
chefs is ready to prepare and present your family with an evening meal or two so that you may
be nourished while nourishing others! Contact Sarah Zaborowski or Joanna Slattery to arrange
delivery. You may reach Sarah by e-mailing her at [email protected] or calling 715-
340-4213. Joanna also is available by e-mail, [email protected] , or phone, 715-209-
0168.
Rosebud Program: This program helps the church identify, pray for and support those who are
pregnant, celebrating birth or adoption, grieving miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, infant or child
death or waiting to become pregnant or adopt. Add your silk rosebud with written hope or
concern to the blessing bouquet and take a prayer card for personal reflection. To connect with
a volunteer caregiver, please call Julie Meadows at 344-9117 or e-mail
[email protected] .
Pastoral Care of the Sick or Hurting: If you or a loved one are anticipating surgery, seriously ill,
inwardly hurting or homebound, please contact Fr. Steve to schedule a visit and/or the
Anointing of the Sick by e-mailing [email protected] or calling 344-9117.
Homebound Eucharistic Ministry: If, because of illness or incapacity, you are not able to come
to Mass one of our Volunteer Eucharistic Ministers will come to you, bringing the food of life –
the precious Body of Jesus - that nourishes the hunger of the heart and strengthens the hope of
the soul. Call 344-9117 to arrange for homebound communion. To request communion at
home, please contact Julie Meadows, Director of Family Life. Call 344-9117 or e-mail her at
[email protected] .
Support of the Dying and their Families: Anticipating death, or the death of a loved one, may be
a time for added care and support as you reflect on life, dying, sharing parting words with those
close to you or preparing for a funeral. Please help your parish family to support you by inviting
our prayers and/or arranging for a visit from Fr. Steve or another of our pastoral caregivers. E-
mail [email protected] or call 344-9117.
Grief Support: Following the death of a loved one you may for some time feel like a stranger in
a strange land. There are spaces in the mind and heart, spaces in the days and nights, it can be
difficult to navigate. Please know that you do not have to navigate those spaces, this time of
grieving, alone. Your presence, and the deep feeling, courage and hope you bring with you, will
enrich time shared in our Grief Circle of Support. This generalized grief support group meets on
the second Monday evening of each month, September through June, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in
the Rectory Dining Room. Please contact Julie Meadows for more information: 344-9117 or
[email protected]
