To become a follower of Jesus Christ is to be his disciple. A disciple literally means "one who is learning." As we grow to trust Jesus and gain confidence in him as the Way, the Truth and the Life,
we yearn to come to know and love him better, to grow in wisdom and in grace.
At Holy Spirit Parish, we believe that such spiritual growth and development is a lifelong endeavor best supported in meaningful community: a place where we will be known, loved, challenged and supported. The headwaters of meaningful community bubble up through the solid earth of the Domestic Church of the Home; this river of life flows over and around the solid rocks of the faith offered by the Parish; then, clear and strong, the waters of justice may surge and those of right living pour forth endlessly to refresh and heal the world -- our schools, work places, clubs and teams -- wherever we are called to give and serve out of gratitude to God.
We invite you to join one of the meaningful, small communities within our larger community, here, at Holy Spirit Parish. Come to be known. Come to be loved. Come to be challenged. Come to be supported. Come to grow in wisdom and grace, compassion, service and hope!
